The one thing I wanted to try was the Jamón ibérico. You could purchase small cones of meat or meat/cheese from the various butcher shops.

We also picked up a small cup of fruit before heading out. With a few more hours to kill before dinner, we stumbled upon Palau Güell, which is a mansion that was designed by Antoni Gaudí.

We met up with my parents and sister’s family for dinner at Ciutat Comtal (Ciudad Condal) where we indulged in sangria and tapas. Overall the food was tasty.

We split from the family to attend The Cube at Casa Battló. There was a musical and visual immersive experience that partnered with the Chemical Brothers for music. When we arrived, they herded us into a small waiting area and everyone had a free drink ticket.

While it was only about 15 minutes total, it was a fun experience.

To end the night, we stopped at Lucciano’s for gelato.

The next morning we grabbed some food/coffee from a small local cafe and then ubered over to the port to board our boat.

Stay tuned for France, Italy, and Greece… (here)
